Tespack from Espoo, Finland is the winner of Jyväskylä Business Rally Investor Day arranged together with Central Finland Mobility Foundation Cefmof, EBAN, FiBAN, and the Startup Factory. The winner received a pitching slot at the European Angel Investment Summit (EAIS) in October 2024 in Brussels.

EBAN is delighted to extend two #EAIS24 tickets to Tespack as the Business Rally Investor Day winner to recognise the company’s social and environmental impact, its potential for scalability, great traction and strong partnerships, and its solid team with an impressive advisory board. We can’t wait to see you in Brussels!” comments Audra Shallal from EBAN board.

Event partner Cefmof nominated Remoted the opportunity to join a 2-year incubation program at the Yritystehdas, Startup Factory in Jyväskylä.

We want to explore cooperation possibilities with Remoted. We are cooperating with the local community towards carbon carbon-neutral future. Possibilities in hydrogen are interesting for Remoted and very important for us at Cefmof. We also would like to accelerate the next innovation through supporting startups,” comments Haruka Arai, Executive Director of Cefmof.

The selection was tough between eight curated startups pitching for about 60 domestic and international investors. The companies represent responsibility, the promotion of carbon neutrality, and well-being.

The companies pitching in the Investor Day were:

  • Aizily, Mougins, France
  • Cityspotting, Jyväskylä, Finland
  • Green Carbon, Jyväskylä, Finland
  • Onit Sport, Jyväskylä, Finland
  • Remoted, Tampere, Finland
  • Soletair Power, Lappeenranta, Finland
  • Tespack, Espoo, Finland
  • xCura, Fukuoka, Japan

In addition to companies seeking expansion and scalability, Investor Day offered interesting keynotes, which this year focused on the future of hydrogen and provided perspectives on venture capital investments in Finland. The keynote speakers were Haruka Arai from Cefmof, Matti Malkamäki from Hycamite TDC Technologies Ltd, and Suvi Collin from FVCA (Finnish Venture Capital Association).
