The World of Hydrogen
Exhibition 2025
OVERVIEW:
Starting from 11th of April 2025, Cefmof organizes the World of Hydrogen exhibition that takes people of all ages into the world of the smallest but most abundant element in the universe: hydrogen. The exhibition focuses on green hydrogen, exploring how it is present in our daily lives in Central Finland today and in the future. Through the exhibition, Cefmof aims to raise awareness and interest in the potential of green hydrogen.
The World of Hydrogen is a renewed and developed version of Cefmof’s first hydrogen exhibition, Green Hydrogen Power, which took place from July to September 2024. The content has been developed based on the feedback and wishes from visitors together with local hydrogen ecosystem stakeholders.
The World of Hydrogen welcomes visitors of all ages and backgrounds – whether you have never heard of hydrogen or are an expert on the topic, there is something new for everyone. The exhibition is available in both Finnish and English languages.
OBJECTIVES:
The exhibition showcases the potential of green hydrogen for daily life in Central Finland by presenting hydrogen innovations and real-life use cases. The exhibition demonstrates how green hydrogen as a clean energy source is already transforming industries, transportation, and energy systems.
One of the key focus areas of the exhibition is hydrogen mobility, highlighting its role in Central Finland’s journey toward carbon neutrality. The exhibition explores how hydrogen can support a more sustainable future for Central Finland and beyond by complementing other clean energy sources.
ACTION:
The World of Hydrogen exhibition engages visitors through a range of interactive and educational experiences showcasing the journey of hydrogen from production to various applications. Through a combination of illustrations, videos, miniatures, and dioramas, the exhibition guides visitors of all ages through into the marvels of hydrogen technology and its impact. Visitors can explore hydrogen innovations through detailed displays and real-life mockups, gaining insights into their role in shaping a sustainable tomorrow.
COLLABORATORS:
The exhibition is organized by the Central Finland Mobility Foundation (Cefmof), a foundation established by the City of Jyväskylä, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing World Rally Team, and the Toyota Mobility Foundation. The exhibition has been created in collaboration with the Aalto2 Museum Center, Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences, and the University of Jyväskylä.
